Young-Hoon Kim, MD, PhD

Dr. Kim is a Professor of Medicine and Director of the Cardiac Arrhythmia Center at Korea University, Seoul, Korea. 

He completed his postgraduate training in internal medicine at Korea University Medical Center and research fellowship training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles. He has participated in many professional societies’ scientific-program development and consensus documents. He served as the president of Asia-Pacific Heart Rhythm Society (APHRS), Korean Heart Rhythm Society (KHRS), and CEO of Korea University Medicine. His principal research interests are catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia, and mapping of underlying mechanisms of various arrhythmias.
