Prof. Dr. med. Roland R. Tilz is an esteemed doctor with over 21 years of experience in internal medicine, cardiology, and rhythmology. He currently serves as the Director and Professor of the Department of Rhythmology at the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein Lubeck in Germany. With a diverse background and extensive training in invasive electrophysiology and cardiac rhythm implants, Dr. Tilz is highly skilled in treating various heart conditions. 

Throughout his career, Dr. Tilz has held significant positions and made notable contributions to the field. He has been the Head of the Electrophysiological Laboratory at the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein Lubeck, as well as the Head of the Atrial Fibrillation Clinic and Director of the EP Laboratory for Robotic Navigation at the Asklepios Clinic St. Georg of Hamburg. Additionally, he has served as a Course Director for several workshops and courses on the ablation of atrial fibrillation.
