Dr. Minglong Chen is a physician scientist who serves as the director of Heart Center of in The First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, as well as the vice-chairman of Chinese Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology. He is a professor of medicine (cardiology) at Nanjing Medical University.

Dr. Chen is also the director of cardiac electrophysiology which covers 4000 ablations and 1000 devices annually. He has devoted most of his time in the innovative ablation strategies of complex cardiac arrhythmias and published over 30 papers in Circ AE, JACC EP, Heart Rhythm and Europace.

Dr. Chen has been elected as an APHRS country representative of China, subcommittee chairman of Global Affairs and Industry Affairs of APHRS. He is an editorial consultant of JACC EP, associate editor of PACE, editorial board member of JACC Asia, Journal of Arrhythmia (JOA), Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology (JCE), Journal of Atrial Fibrillation and Heart Rhythm Case Reports.
