Angelo Auricchio, M.D. Ph.D. FESC is Professor at the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences at Università della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, Switzerland, and Professor of Cardiology at University Hospital in Magdeburg, Germany. He is co-director of the Center for Computational Medicine in Cardiology at Università della Svizzera Italiana in Lugano, Switzerland. He is serving as Scientific Director at the Fondazione Ticino Cuore, an institution devoted to increasing public awareness of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest victims and to improve the survival rate of victims of out-of-hospital arrest. He is Past-President of European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA). Since 2023 he is Editor-in-Chief of EP Europace.
